上师佛铜像

上师像,是藏传佛教造像中的一个重要门类。上师,从藏文Bla ma一词意译而来,Bla ma一词还有最上、殊胜、师长、恩人之意,而我们通常熟知的“喇嘛”即是他的音译。汉传佛教中有三皈依,即皈依佛、皈依法、皈依僧,而藏传佛教认为,上师将佛法的真谛言传身教于弟子,是修行者证悟的引导者,其身份地位与佛等同,因此藏传佛教除了皈依佛法僧三宝之外,重视对上师的皈依,故有四皈依之说。藏传佛教也被称为喇嘛教,可见喇嘛,即上师,在藏传佛教中扮演着不可或缺的重要角色。

再回到这尊造像,品相完好,铜质莹润。此像具有鲜明的面部特征,人物的眼睛呈枣核形,眼角微微上挑,嘴角带有微笑;身躯笔直端坐于莲台,整体线条流畅自如,可见工匠手法之娴熟。轻松随意之中塑造出疏密有致的装饰纹样。人物盘腿端坐于莲花座上,衣物包覆其外,形成有规律的宽大褶皱。随衣褶的折叠分布,富有强烈的装饰感。双手放于胸前,食指与拇指捏持药丸状物。柔软富有动感的手指、饱满的手臂,宽阔的肩膀,厚实的身躯,增加了造像的生动与庄重之感,也传递出人物恬淡平和的心境与氛围。在现存上师像中无疑属于难得的精品之作。

造像台座为仰覆莲样式,饱满的莲花瓣从台座中央向两侧略呈放射状铺设,直至台座的侧后方。双层莲瓣的边缘起立体棱线,花瓣尖端微微卷起。台座下缘有一圈细密的连珠纹,与台座卷沿相呼应,华丽而精致。

 

The pedestal of the statue is in the style of a lotus flower, with full lotus petals spreading from the center of the pedestal to both sides in a slightly radial pattern until the side and back of the pedestal.The edges of the double lotus petals are three-dimensionally ribbed, and the tips of the petals are slightly rolled up.The lower edge of the pedestal has a circle of fine bead pattern, and the pedestal roll edge echo, gorgeous and exquisite.

造像封底保存完好,底板正中有线刻十字交杵,可见厚重的铜胎和密实的封边。

 

The bottom of the statue is well-preserved, and there is a line in the center of the bottom plate with an engraved cross and a pestle, which shows the heavy copper tires and dense sealing edges.

 

与其他作品相比较,可以看出这尊上师像体现了精湛的写实技艺,工匠着力刻画出肖像的面部特征,同时展现了一位高僧的庄严法相,加上疏密有致的錾刻,打磨光滑的表面,使得造像展示出精致而华丽的风格,手法娴熟高超,保存完好,堪称是一件不可多得的上师像精品。
